1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an educational institution ("School", "User", "you"), and ShikshaDuar ("we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our web portal, school administrative dashboards, and related mobile software applications (such as the KG Campus app).

By accessing or registering with ShikshaDuar, you expressly agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these terms. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you must discontinue platform use immediately.

2. User Accounts & Institutional Responsibility

Our platform designates distinct roles with specialized operational scopes:

• Super Administrator: Manages platform infrastructure, assigns institutional licenses, approves onboarding applications, and controls global module permissions.
• School Administrator: Responsible for maintaining accurate academic years, fee structures, class mediums, student admissions, and bus route assignments.
• Student & Parent Users: Authorized to authenticate via their unique Student ID and temporary WhatsApp OTP to monitor student academic progress, attendance, and fee status.

School administrators are responsible for ensuring all student information entered into ShikshaDuar is verified and collected with lawful guardian consent.

3. Authentication & One-Time Passcodes (OTP)

Login authentication for administrative portals and the student mobile application relies on time-sensitive One-Time Passcodes (OTPs) dispatched via registered email or WhatsApp:

• Each OTP is strictly confidential, non-transferable, and valid for a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
• Users must never disclose their OTP codes to third parties. ShikshaDuar personnel will never ask for your active OTP.
• Any activity performed through an account verified with a valid OTP shall be deemed authorized by the account holder.

4. Subscription, Billing & Renewals

• Subscription plans (e.g. Onboarding Trial, Partner, or Custom Institutional plans) are billed on agreed periodic schedules.
• Failure to renew an active institutional subscription prior to the expiration date will trigger automatic feature locking until renewal fees are settled.
• Unless otherwise stated in a written service agreement, payments made for software subscription licenses are non-refundable.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The ShikshaDuar name, proprietary code, visual designs, brand iconography, mobile application architecture, and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of ShikshaDuar. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable revocable license to access and use the software solely for managing your institution's operations during your active subscription term.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Circumvent, disable, or tamper with security-related platform features or access control mechanisms.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the source code or API protocols.
• Use automated scripts or scrapers to extract student, school, or financial records.
• Introduce viruses, Trojan horses, or malicious payloads into the system.

7. Limitation of Liability

ShikshaDuar strives to maintain high service availability (99.9% uptime). However, we shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from third-party gateway downtime (e.g. telecommunication SMS failures or Meta WhatsApp network outages) or unauthorized access caused by user credential negligence.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in West Bengal, India.
